Our Story

The Choice Was Never Fair

Mayank and Ruben spent years building software for other people’s businesses. Different industries, different problems, same pattern every time: a business with a process that already worked, held together by spreadsheets and manual workarounds, needed that process turned into real software. Months later, they’d have a working prototype and a full-time dependency.

Getting it built properly, without an enterprise budget, and keeping it alive without an enterprise team, was always the hard part. Businesses were told to pick one: build it cheap and watch it break under real use, or build it properly and spend years paying for the privilege.

We didn’t think that was a fair choice to make. A business that understands its own operation better than anyone should be the one running the software behind it, using agentic AI to configure and evolve it, not permanently dependent on whoever built it. That’s the whole premise GraniteStack is built on.

Before GraniteStack, Mayank and Ruben spent years working with tech and SaaS companies around the world. They saw up close how expensive and distracting it was for a business to design, launch, and maintain its own software, time and focus that should have gone into running the business itself. Watching that same pattern repeat on every project, they stopped rebuilding the same components from scratch each time. That habit became the platform that led to GraniteStack.
